The Series was formed to establish a unity not only between events and how they are created, but between the athletes themselves. Many of you are at these events, why not give you a prize for it!
The CA Running Series medal will be awarded at the finish line of the last event of the year. In 2012, the final event of the season is the Morgan Hill Marathon + Half, where finishers will be awarded the CA Running Series medal for completing any two of the three events in any distance. These medals are 3" around and a very heavy keepsake.
What do we want in return? How about passing the word? While each of these events draws around 2000 athletes, we can always use more runners and volunteers.

Starting and finishing in Downtown Pleasanton, this scenic Tri Valley area course will be your stomping ground for this certified 13.1 mile run. April will be a pleasant time of year for a spring race that will be the first of its kind in the beautiful town of Pleasanton, CA. Runners and their families can come and enjoy all that Pleasanton has to offer from great dining, lodging, entertainment and shopping in historic Downtown Pleasanton.

Come experience the Northern California Marathon and Half on September 16, 2012. The fast course begins and ends at the Arena Green, adjacent to the HP Pavilion Arena. Starting on Santa Clara Street right in front of the HP Pavilion you will be treated with fantastic support. Heading down the Alameda, then making a large loop you will head back into downtown San Jose. You will proceed north eventually entering the Guadalupe Trail system. Heading North the Half will turn around and make a straight shot back to the finish line. The Full course will continue North near Alviso, turning south working its way back to the Arena. Both courses finish together! The new marathon for San Jose.

Come experience the Morgan Hill Marathon, Festival and Expo on October 28, 2012. The beautiful course begins at the Morgan Hill Centennial Center. It will wind through the local, scenic hills. After a few miles you will find yourself passing Uvas Reservoir.
